About me

I'm a CU Boulder graduate in Integrated Design Engineering (IDE), with an Aerospace concentration and an Engineering Management emphasis. IDE is a design centered engineering degree built around team projects. You start from a user need, work through analysis and hardware, and finish with a business case. That meant owning five projects end to end, and it's why I think about a part's manufacturability and cost as early as its performance.

Aviation runs in my family

I grew up surrounded by aviation. My great grandfather was a lead machinist in Pratt and Whitney's experimental shop in the 1940s, and my grandfather, a retired Air Force lieutenant general, was the program director for the B-2 Spirit and F-117 Nighthawk programs.

Growing up around that history made aerospace personal to me long before it was my major. It's why I chose an aerospace concentration, why I took on the full tail of our senior design aircraft, and why I kept building after graduation with a wind tunnel at home.

I'm extremely passionate about this industry and completely motivated to build my career in it. My family set the bar high, and I'm here to meet it.
